Step 1

Get in touch !

Send me a message to discuss what you're looking for and the story behind it.
We’ll plan how to create your new piece of art, estimate how long everything will take, and answer any questions you might have.
Feel free to include any reference photos you have at this initial stage.

Step 2

Send your reference photos

If you haven’t already sent over your reference images, now’s the perfect time to do so!

Reference image guidelines:

  • Include several angles of the venue, and let me know which angle you'd like the drawing to be based on.

  • Try to send photos from wide perspectives to capture the surrounding area. This helps me frame the drawing in the natural environment.

  • For farm map portraits, Google Maps screenshots work great to mark out the land. See farm map guidelines for more information.

Step 3

Drawing time

From here, I’ll hand-draw your venue, scan the drawing, and add any custom text you’d like using Photoshop.
I’ll send you a draft for confirmation before moving forward with professional printing.

Step 4

Professional printing

Your artwork will be professionally printed on Hahnemühle William Turner Fine Art 310gsm textured paper. Once the print is perfect, I’ll add those final hand-drawn touches to the piece.

If you prefer, you can skip this printing step.  Instead you would receive a high-quality digital scan of your drawing, so you can print it yourself.

Why I Print the Drawing:

  • Printing the drawing offers the flexibility to order as many copies as you'd like.

  • It allows for customization, including the option to add text or other elements to suit your specific needs.

And that’s it!
All that's left is to sit back and wait for your bespoke artwork to arrive.

  • Is the artwork hand-drawn?
Yes!! All artwork is meticulously hand-drawn with pen on paper. Each piece is scanned to add text and printed on Hahnemühle William Turner 310 g/m², 100% cotton paper.
  • How long will it take for my artwork to arrive?
On average, house, farm, and wedding portraits are completed within 4 weeks from the time I receive your reference materials. Please note that during peak seasons, such as Christmas, this timeframe may vary. If you need your artwork sooner, feel free to inquire, and I'll do my best to accommodate your request. For timeframes on oil painting portraits, please contact me directly.
  • What kind of reference photos do I need?
For house & farm map portraits: Take a photo from the angle you'd like the house to be drawn. This will be the main reference for the portrait, so pick the side that best represents your home.
A wide-angle shot (or multiple overlapping photos) that shows the yard, garden, trees, fences, or driveway helps add context and atmosphere to the portrait. For wedding venue portraits: We can work together to choose a suitable reference photo. In many cases, a high-quality image from the venue’s professional online gallery can be used as the base for the artwork. For oil painting portraits: High-resolution, well-lit photos are essential. The image should clearly show the subject's features and have a good contrast of highlights and shadows to capture depth and detail.
  • Why is the drawing scanned and printed?
Printing the drawing offers the flexibility to order as many copies as you'd like, and allows for customization, including the option to add text or other elements to suit your specific needs. The high quality, fine art textured paper on which the drawing is printed is itself a work of art.
  • What payment methods are accepted?
I accept payments via PayPal, Revolut, and bank transfer.
  • Do you ship internationally?
Yes, international shipping is available and includes tracking. Shipping costs typically range between €9 and €13.
